Young Justice: Legacy cancelled on Wii U and Wii

Developer Little Orbit has announced via its Facebook page that both the Wii and Wii U versions of it’s upcoming game Young Justice: Legacy have been cancelled.

We noticed that the game had gone missing from the release schedule late last week here in Australia, but indeed everyone will be missing out on the game.

The statement from the team was very apologetic.
Based on several factors we’ve had to cancel the Wii and Wii-U versions of Young Justice: Legacy.
We regret that this decision will prevent some fans from playing the game and the finding out what happens in the story. There were a number of reasons ranging from quality issues to lack of retailer support, but know that we didn’t make this decision lightly. We are a fairly new company, and unfortunately both of these platforms presented challenges we couldn’t overcome.

Please accept our sincere apology.

We look forward to delivering the Xbox360, PS3, 3DS, and Steam versions in less than a month.
If you’re still keen the follow the story then the game is still coming, just not on any Nintendo home consoles.

All lame excuses, make it an e shop only title if you can’t get retail support.. Not that I was even planning to get it. Nintendo really stuffed the Wii u and I don’t think they can get it back…

agree Nintendo kinda stuffed up the wii u
it costs a lot for developers to release in various gaming systems I presume and they probably saw poor sales for multi-platform releases on wiiu
