Dark Souls Remastered coming to the Switch this May

Announced during the Nintendo Direct mini, FromSoftware’s much loved (and sworn at) Dark Souls is coming to the Nintendo Switch on May 25th.

The game is entirely remastered and feature complete with dedicated servers with up to six players in a game. The game will be released on May 25th. Dark Souls will run at 1080p resolution and run at 30fps in docked mode.

    It had been rumoured forever that I thought it’d be a whole trilogy pack…still, this is welcome news.

      DS2 + 3 being on PS4/XB1 means a trilogy is unlikely, plus DS3 might be difficult to get working on the Switch (never had a XB360/PS3 generation port). Most likely next remaster would be Demon’s Souls I think.

        I think they’ve commented saying the whole trilogy will eventually come to Switch. Isn’t Demon Souls less likely because Sony published it in Japan?

          Also they are saying 40 USD, which would turn me from a little bit on the fence to almost certain buy (gotta make sure it performs at 30 FPS as they say)
