Weekly Sales figures Wii claims top six spots
Newcomer Just Dance joins the usual cast of regulars as the Wii snatches up the top half of this weeks Aussie game sales
The Ubisoft dance game debuted in sixth place below the typical line-up of Wii exclusives, with Mario Kart Wii once again claiming top prize, followed by Wii Fit Plus and the other usuals—New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wii Play, and Wii Sports Resort—doing a bit of a shuffle. Of the non-Nintendo titles to make the top ten, only one was a new release- the meathead friendly shoot-em-up ‘Army of Two – The 40th Day’ managing to poke its nose in up against the still-selling Modern Warfare 2.
What is ‘Just Dance’? If you guessed at a compilation of late nineties to early 2000’s Top 40 dance tracks with a waggle-centric rhythm control scheme, then congratulations, you’re correct.
Feel free to celebrate winning my quiz by not buying ‘Just Dance’.
In the wide happy land of DS software, Maths Training claimed the top spot amidst another shuffle-around of legacy DS games. Now that we have a solid release date for Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver, we expect only a few more months of unexciting DS sales figures ahead.
