Update: Call off the search party, it’s back on the App Store.
Super Mario Run is currently missing from the iOS App Store and no one seems to know why.
The game stopped appearing on the App Store earlier today, the iMessage sticker app in the store, however. The game is also still available on the Google Play Store.
This removal could just be a simple error and we’ll see it back in no time, or it might be something more exciting. We’ll keep you updated.

It’s back, it’s likely that there was some issue with the app and the easiest way to address the problem was temporarily pull it from sale.
People were reading way too much into this.
