Nintendo Is Possibly Working On A Wii Remote Battery Charger
File this under ‘Why didn’t this happen 6 years ago’ but Nintendo is possibly releasing an Official Wii Remote Plus Battery Charger.
The news comes from a Nintendo survey which asks would you buy a Wii Remote Plus charger that would provide up to 13 hours of use after a 90 minute charge. They actually use the name Official Wii Remote Plus Fast Charger, so its release is likely a formality at this point.
Also in the survey Nintendo asks if would you be likely to purchase not just a charger but a set that contains the rechargeable battery, AC adapter, charging cradle, strap and another Wii Remote cover. The give the approximate price of $40.
So while this should have happened 6 years ago when the Wii was new, now with the Wii Remote being a part of the Wii U future its now a case of better late than never.
