Lego City Undercover still coming to the 3DS as The Chase Begins
Lego City Undercover was announced for both the Wii U and the 3DS though the 3DS edition has remained largely unseen until now.
Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins is an open world adventure game that takes place in the same city as Lego City Undercover, however it will instead explore a story arc that takes place before the events of the original game (which is releasing next month). The 3DS iteration is due for release in June.
We only have a trailer to go by, but it’s certainly shaping up to be something special. Fully voiced cutscenes and true open world game play are things that Lego City fans can look forward to exploring either on the Wii U or the 3DS.
While this title looks ambitious, it’ll be interesting to see if the developers can match the scale of the Wii U version.

“true open world gameplay”, to what extent. We are talking about the 3DS here, I would assume that the games map size would be a fraction of the Wii U’s map, though if they made it the same size on the 3DS, what will they cut out to make it fit. We need more information on this title.
