Aussie Bargain Roundup: Octopath Traveller

by Daniel VuckovicJuly 18, 2018

It’s not often we update a bargain guide after release, but this week’s Big W catalogue has Octopath for $69 (and Amazon has matched), normally the cheaper prices last just the week (or day of) release – but here’s something new. Since Octopath Traveller is $89.95RRP its a big saving. Plus you can make an American jealous for actually being able to buy it (and cheaper than even them).

Target: “Probably not even stocking it”

Now that is the pessimism I love to see! lol

I can’t exactly fault you considering that Target has become a shadow of its former self.
I can confirm that Target is getting Octopath Traveller amongst 7 other Nintendo related things this month… Well at least from the information I have at hand.
Target has been known to change their minds at the last minute though so this is really as good as a confirmation as you are going to get from me. I can say that the prices aren’t the cheapest but they aren’t the worst price. Target seems to have positioned themselves in the middle of market price wise.

I’m a sucker for the collection’s edition haha, should be great 🙂

Point of notice is that our edition does not come with a CD soundtrack and the map is not made of fabric.
I’d also submit that their are quality variables on this collection as mine was lined at the front and one of the pop-up cars board pieces were creased. :/

Target did receive this and it is being sold at $79

I actually bought it from Big W on Saturday with that price. They must only be advertising it now though.
