EA feel belittled by Nintendo’s software sales

EA CEO, John Riccitiello, has come out and said that it’s quite hard for third party developers to garner such a large presence when over two thirds of the software sales come from the big N themselves. He closes the interesting quote with a very powerful, ambitious and promising line “”We’ve got work to do on the Wii.”” It’s not like EA haven’t been trying either, with the firm publishing some big name titles like the critically successful Boom Blox, the well-received Godfather game and several other sports titles that have proved successful too. Is the Big N’s software just too much to contend with? Discuss
