Yooka-Laylee gets follow-up, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair out later this year

Team 17 and Playtonic Games have teamed up to bring a follow up to Yooka-Laylee, out is 3D platforming and in comes 2.5D!
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will arrive later this year on the Nintendo Switch and everything else and puts you once again at the controls of Yooka and Laylee as they work through puzzles in a 3D overworld, but then also switch to 2.5D for some platforming.
The game will have a soundtrack by David Wise and Grant Kirkhope as well.

I think this is a smart move for a safe and efficient follow-up to a game that received a pretty mixed reception. Probably worth buying for the Wise & Kirkhope soundtrack alone but I hope they can pull off some fun DK Country-esque levels with an interesting puzzley overworld.
