Nintendo brings Mother 1 to the Wii U Virtual console as Earthbound Beginnings

Nintendo drops the big one at NWC!

We haven’t even got to Nintendo’s main E3 event and they’re already dropping bombs. This morning they announced EarthBound Beginnings a port of the original Mother title for the NES is coming to the Wii U Virtual and for the first time in many regions.

Update: Earthbound Beginnings is out now on the Australian Wii U eShop for $9.10
