Update: Club Nintendo Europe (and Australia) gets amazing Luigi’s Mansion 2 Diorama

During last night’s Nintendo Direct it was confirmed that the Year of Luigi festivities would continue into 2014. Well they announce Dr Luigi, that’s pretty huge.

However the coolest thing had to be the announcement of this awesome Luigi’s Mansion diorama, available only from the European Club Nintendo.

We know what you’re thinking and we’ve already emailed Nintendo Australia to ask if we’re getting it. Calm yourself.

Update:  This just in from Nintendo Australia “with the Year of Luigi celebrations extending into 2014, a new Luigi’s Mansion 2 Diorama will be available early next year from the Club Nintendo Stars Catalogue while stocks last.”

We’re getting it!

Wee hoo! FINALLY! Something to spend some of my 25000 points on >.> I don’t think I have redeem a single point this year. Disappointing…

Yep, just checked. It was worse than I thought, the last point redeem I did was the Golden Nunchuk Purchased: 26/05/2012. Bleh. Australia needs to step the quality of rewards, they are usually very sad looking compared to other countries.

So the Catalogue will be updating early next year for Aus? Was panicking a little coz it’s up for Europe but not Aus when logged in. Probably will be the same amount of Stars to Europe, yeah?

I knew something good was coming because I just bought a Pikmin Tote Bag with some soon to expire points.

    I hate you Club Nintendo.

Oh wow, it’s actually coming? Great. I have a whole mess of stars saved up thanks to the complete lack of anything worth redeeming them for and Nintendo’s crazy year full of releases. (y)

I’ve never even used any of my stars because I missed all the cool stuff and everything else seems like a waste of stars.
I actually lost about 3,000 points just because they don’t even notify you that your points are up for expiration if you don’t check frequently, but there’s not much reason to check since we never have anything in our stars catalogue.
Since our Club Nintendo points are virtually worthless, I’ve been importing about half my Nintendo games anyway so it’s Nintendo Australia’s loss, really.

Just a tip, it would seem we now have Nintendo Hanafuda Cards for 3000 Stars and a Year of Luigi coin for 1200.

As an aside… do we know how many stars for the Luigi figure? I want those dang cards too…

So the luigi coin was out of stock in like 10 minutes. That seems fair…Do club Nintendo allow people to redeem points for as many single reward items as they like, or do they cap it at a certain number? This would allow more people to have a chance of getting some of this loot and not having to pay $50-$100 on auction sites, where greedy people are just flogging off their items for cash.
