Free-to-play Pokemon Shuffle coming to the eShop in February

Nintendo overnight announced Pokemon Shuffle for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Mixing two of the biggest addictions in the world, Pokemon and free-to-play gameplay Nintendo have created a ‘modern’ take on Pokemon Battle Trozei. It’s a match-three type game but with free to play twist we know from every single mobile phone game ever.

You will start the game with a limited number of hearts, lose them and you’ll have to wait some time for more of them to regenerate. Of course if you don’t like waiting you can just pay. Knowing Nintendo this won’t be too bad and nothing like you’d expect. The game is out in February on the eShop.

Will you give this one a go?

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Pokemon universe a new Pokemon was revealed for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It’s Hoopa! Fans have known about this Pokemon for some time thanks to hackers checking on the code of the game but now you can catch it without pesky hacking.
