For the love of God Vooks! I hope you can work your magic savings post for Starlink. Got a lot of money riding on it haha.

Awesome head start for Smash though. Know how much extra to put down before December now.

It’s probably worth mentioning that EB Games also has pre-orders up for 5 other amiibos: King K Rool, Dark Samus, Simon, Richter and Chrom. Thanks for the great summary! Hoping JB HiFi makes the bundle competitive with Amazon’s price.

Great overview, thanks! Hopefully JB HiFi agrees with Amazon’s price before release.

It might also be worth mentioning that EB Games have 5 other Amiibo up for pre-order with release slated for 2018. They have K Rool, Dark Samus, Simon, Richter and Chrom.

I still demand an explanation as to why the limited edition costs as much as it does. It costs $20 more than buying the game and controller separately at full price, so one is essentially paying an additional $20 for a steelbook. The pricing is absolutely ludicrous.

I’m hoping that an additional inclusion or two will be announced in the Direct tomorrow, but I’m not holding my breath.

Yeah pro-tip is to just buy the controller and game separately (unless you are keen for the steelbook)

You have listed the price for the eshop, how did you find that out its not even showing up on the actual eshop. also do you know when we can pre-order the game through eshop?

I’m going Digital for the convenience. Breaking out Smash anytime, anywhere is what it’s about. Can’t be bothered fumbling with cartridges in the heat of battle!

I just managed to flip my remaining two physical games for enough to rebuy them on the eshop when they were on sale (Mario and Xenoblade) so with an empty cartridge slot I reckon I’ll capitalise on the savings for the physical version and then wait for eshop cards to go on sale again, or smash to digitally discount eventually and then try and do the same.
