Nintendo Network to undergo extended maintenance next week

Nintendo has revealed in advance the the Nintendo Network will undergo an extended period of maintenance next week.

Services expected to be affecting are the Wii U, 3DS and their respective eShops. The Wii and even the Nintendo DS stores will also be affected.

Downtime for Aussies will be mostly at night, however a whole bunch of Tuesday will also be affected with maintenance planned from Tuesday 4:00am AEST until 3:00pm AEST.

So we know what you’re all thinking, that big old Miiverse and 3DS update was meant to be out in December. 11 hours of maintenance, coincidence? Perhaps so!
