YouTube app updated on Wii U

The YouTube app on the Wii U has been updated as promised by Nintendo in the latest update.
The new app features a much improved interface and better stability, the previous version of the app quite frankly was a little bit rubbish.
The update is quite small and should download overnight if you don’t prompt it and run the app yourself.
The Nintendo 3DS version of the app is still due ‘before the end of the month’. Which if you look at your calendar, is quite soon.

I’ll give it a spin but I’m already skeptical that it is going to be a better experience than just using the web browser, which is currently the best way to watch Youtube vids on my tv.
Now if they could make it possible to stream to the Wii U from my Google Music account then I’d really be in business.
