You can win an overseas trip by taking pictures in Pokémon GO
Back in February, Pokémon GO introduced an all new feature called Go Snapshot, which allows players to take photos with their favourite monsters using AR capabilities to bring them into the real world. Over the next couple months, your PokéPics could net you a big prize.
Over the weekend, Niantic announced the Pokémon GO Snapshot Challenge, a series of all-new contests in which players are tasked with taking and sharing pictures of their favourite Pokémon using the GO Snapshot feature. The grand prize? Two tickets to an exclusive GO Fest Event, in either Chicago, Dortmund, or a currently-unannounced Asian city, flights and lodging included. Two runners up in each contest will also get a dedicated PokéStop with their winning picture on it, which will stick around for at least 6 months.
To enter, all you have to do is take a photo with the GO Snapshot feature following the specific rules for each tournament (which we’ve outlined below), and share it to Twitter or Instagram (but not both) with the appropriate hashtags.

Buddy Challenge
Participation Dates: 5:00 PM Monday, 15 April 2019 – 4:59 PM Thursday, 25 April
It’s time for a photo shoot with your Buddy Pokémon! In this challenge, we’re looking for Trainers to show us photos that highlight the connection between them and their Buddy Pokémon. From your shared adventures at the park to some fun moments at home, we want to see what makes your Buddy Pokémon your buddy!

Habitat Challenge
Participation Dates: 5:00 PM Monday, 29 April 2019 – 4:59 PM Thursday, May 9 2019
For our Habitat Challenge, we’re asking Trainers to take the best photos of Pokémon in their natural habitat! It’s time to learn more about your Pokémon, as understanding a Pokémon’s type and Pokédex information is an important factor in winning this challenge!
