Yooka-Laylee confirmed for Nintendo Switch, still coming ‘soon’

The most shocking news ever was confirmed earlier this morning, Yooka-Laylee is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Sadly however a date wasn’t announced aside from ‘2017’ and ‘very soon’. Whatever that means we’ll just have to wait and see. The game is out on April 11th on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

A new trailer also went up for the game overnight, check it out below

I just hope that there is a retail version for the Switch as well. This reminds me of the many 3D platformers from the mid-late 1990s (such as Croc and Crash Bandicoot; I never played Banjo Kazooie back in the day). I miss the onslaught of 3D platformers. It’s so disappointing that we only ever seem to get 2D platformers from Nintendo nowadays.
