Xenoblade Chronicles 2 out December 1st, Special Edition & Pro Controller announced
Update 1: Nintendo Australia has confirmed we’re getting the controller on December 1st. No word yet on the Limited Edition.
Update 2: EB Games has confirmed that we’ll also be getting the Special Edition, again on December 1st. You can view the store listing for it here.
Original Story: Many doubted it but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will actually arrive this year. The release date for the game was announced this morning during the Nintendo Direct, it will be out on December 1st.
It was also revealed that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will have a special edition with a steel-book, art book, CD. There is also a new Xenoblade Chronicles 2 themed Pro Controller available separately.
We’re checking with Nintendo Australia if we’re getting anything of this cool stuff below.

It’s mentioned on the official nintendo AU news webpage that there is a special edition (includes a sound selection CD, a special metal game case and a 220-page hardbound art book) exclusive to EB games.
