The highly-anticipated WiiWare title is set for an Australian release of July 16th

Yesterday, Gamelion Studios announced that their long-awaited 3D puzzle-platformer, Furry Legends, will be launched in Australia, July 16th, 2010 for 1000 Wii Points.

As the title suggests, gameplay centres on furry creatures which are controlled by the player. These characters are each unique, possessing their own skills and abilities, and players can select different characters to perform different tasks. The game features a robust physics system, which takes advantage of the Wii Remote’s features, enabling unique ways for the player to solve problems. Rolling, jumping, bouncing and attacking are just some of the actions players will have at command.

Gamelion intends to please both casual and hardcore audiences with this title by providing a game that is easy to pick up and play, but also hard to master. The title boasts impressive, full 3D graphics as well as a nice dose of humour.

Furry Legends is available for download on July 16th, via the Wii Shop Channel for 1000 Wii Points. See below for the official trailer.
