Wii U Emulator spotted in the wild, still in early stages

Still a while off working well.

Well it had to happen sooner or later but there now appears to be a Wii U emulator in the wild. The creators of the emulator are calling it Cemu and its still at very early stages.

Being that the Wii U is only three years old the emulator doesn’t work terrifically yet and doesn’t support audio or even the GamePad. Then if you are able to load the game, which takes minutes it’ll likely even crash. The emulator is available to download now but will only work on Windows and good luck finding the games – we certainly aren’t going to help you with that!

So should Nintendo be worried? Probably not – the emulator is likely years off of being meaningfully useful and by then the Wii U will be a memory of the past.
