In a new report, video game analyst Michael Pachter has predicted that the Wii will be the holiday winner in the United States. He predicts that the Wii sell 1.7 million Wiis due to the continued demand outstripping supply. The Xbox 360 should sell around 1.5 million and the PS3 around 800,000. This is about double of what was sold last December. Pachter also adds that demand for the Wii will continue to make the console hard to get until April.
