Wii still selling out daily in the USA

by Stuart GarsedJune 29, 2007

Its been over 7 months since the Wii launched and it is still selling out on a daily basis in America. People are still having trouble finding them with many getting up at the crack of dawn with the hope to track one down. Now, while Nintendo have ramped up production, its still not enough and the success has far exceeded Nintendos expectations.

More Inside Whats interesting is its not the hardcore audience trying to get their hands on it, rather Nintendos main audience, the casuals. Ranging from 12 year old to elderly grandmothers, the Wii is doing wonders with their target audience with consoles flying off the shelves as fast as they get there.

Kudos to Nintendo for keeping up these levels of hype and sales, which many predicted would not have lasted this long after the launch and holiday periods.
