Lets just hope that in this case, we get a similar deal to Japan

The recent announcement of the Wii Remote with Wii Motion Plus built in was no surprise to gamers, and despite being penned for release so far in Japan only, theres some information out there that will probably surprise you. The Wii Remote Plus will be the same size as the Wii Remote that you can buy in stores today, however, it will also be the same price in Japan. This is something we hope to see translated across to our Australian shelves when/if the updated hardware launches here.

Similarly, but unsurprisingly, Nintendo Japan will be replacing the Wii Remote in the console box with a Wii Remote Plus too.

The Wii Remote Plus currently is not confirmed for release outside of Japan. We will keep you updated when we know.
