Wii reaches 3 million in Japan

The Wii has reached yet another milestone in Nintendos home country of Japan. Yahoo! News reports that the machine as of July 15th has reached 3.01 million. Add to this the fact that the DS has sold 18 million (just a few short of the PS2) as of the same date. The news is not so good for the Xbox 360, only managing 420,705 units and the PS3 has just passed the million. It really does print money.
