We Love Golf gets online play

The latest issue of Nintendo Power magazine contains some fantastic information for fans of Capcom’s upcoming golf game We Love Golf!, with the game’s developer Camelot confirming the addition of an online mode for the western release. In the interview with Camelot’s Takahashi brothers, the online mode was confirmed to feature the ability to play against random opponents in one-on-one matches or with a yet to be determined number of friends via Friend Codes over six, nine, or 18 holes. The major content newly added is the online gameplay, the Takahashi borthers said.

Also, in addition to the new characters, we tweaked the graphics a little in order to appeal to international players. Furthermore, were rethinking the swing speed as well.

With the inclusion of Miis, along with bonus Capcom character outfits such as Ryu and Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Apollo Justice and Pearl from Ace Attorney, Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, and Arthur from Ghouls n’ Ghosts, Wii Love Golf! is certainly shaping up to be a one of the Wii’s best golf games and a must have for both golf and Capcom fans.
