No matter what you thought of Nintendo’s E3 showing, the actual presentation featuring Nintendo puppets was pretty amazing.

Those amazing puppets were as many guessed built by the fine folks at Jim Henson Studios. Nintendo has released a new video showing off some of the behind scenes action from the final video and a lengthy interview between Shigeru Miyamoto and Brian Henson who talk about how it all came to be.

Maybe we’ll see Nintendo work with these folks in the future, we’ve had Paper Mario, Yarn Yoshi’s – what’s next? Puppet Metroid?
