Vooks GOTY Awards 2012 are here. Time to vote!

It's time to think back over the entire year and pick your favourites. Don't delay you have only a week.
This article is more than 13 years old.

With just over a week until Christmas it’s time to sit down and collect your thoughts, think about the year gone by and vote for your favourite games of the year.

Yes it’s time for the Vooks GOTY Awards and just like last year we’re combining our votes with yours to figure out what was the best in 2012. With four Nintendo platforms to pick from and the entire range of eShop games to pick as well, finding a winning won’t be easy.

We also will be having a separate Readers and Staff award for overall game of the year. We’ve had more voting categories in the past but this year we’re keeping it lean and simple, just like the Nintendo DS lineup this year.

So put on your voting hat and get clicking in the polls below. Polls close on December 23rd, just in time for Christmas.

Overall Game Of The Year (Readers Choice)

Best Nintendo 3DS Game of 2012

Best Nintendo DS Game of 2012

Best Nintendo Wii Game of 2012

Best Wii U Game of 2012

Best Nintendo eShop Release 2012

Best Multiplatform Title (That may or may not be on a Nintendo console)

Most Wanted Wii U Game in 2013 (so far)

Most Wanted 3DS Game in 2013 (so far)

Remember if we’ve missed a title then you’re able to add your own to any of categories and it will be counted. All games released officially in Australia in 2012 are eligible to win.

UGH MH3U and Pikmin 3 so far are equal footing.. Pikmin is just epic in every reguard, but im looking forward to the co-op 3DS/Wii U gameplay! Cant I choose both?

  4. MysticLegacy

Isn’t Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U, not the 3DS?

Votes cast! Also has served as a reminder that I really need to get onto Resident Evil: Revelations. How that’s sat unplayed for so long I don’t know.
(I do know, it’s because too many games!)

It’s tempting to just nominate and vote for Xenoblade since it technically came out in 2012 (for NTSC regions) 😛

    Such a good game!
