Another fortnight and another episode to close us out for the upcoming holiday season. We’re happy to have brought it to you just on time and hope you enjoyed everything the team has to discuss in this episode. From the Cranky Kong announcement to Nintendo’s attitudes towards their fans opinions, it’s all discussed in this episode. Donkey Kong, Smash Brothers (with a touch of Majora’s Mask) and all of Nintendo’s recent eShop shenanigans are covered in this content packed season finale.

To round things off, we speak about the biggest game to release recently – the Square Enix produced Bravely Default, as well as other games that we missed throughout the year including Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (haters to the right), the latest Harvest Moon (A New Beginning) and the first wave of the SEGA 3D Classics line from the eShop. Direct to you!

We’ll be going on break until January 15 in the meantime, but you can help influence what we talk about in our post-2013 reflection when we return. Stay tuned for more details!

We’d like to take a quick moment to also thank all of our listeners for all the invaluable feedback they’ve provided throughout the year, as well as those people who have made the effort to listen to the ramblings of our main crew – James, Daniel and Steven throughout the year. And of course, to our numerous members of the community who have graciously donated their time to participate in the recent months too.

See you all in 2014!

This episode was produced by James and features the following music in order of appearance: –

Eternity’s Moment (from Bravely Default)
by Sound Horizon [with direction from Revo]

On The Horizon (from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag)
by Brian Tyler [available from iTunes]
