Ubisoft’s CEO on NX: “What We Have Seen Is Really Great”
Just last month Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot said the company would be on board with the NX day, now he’s said something nice again.
Speaking during a financial conference call, Guillemot once again restated his enthusiasm for the console and said it would drive a lot more casual uses back to the video game industry.
“On the NX, what we have seen is really great, so we think having a new machine coming is going to help the industry to continue to grow and to take lots more casual players back in the industry.”
The NX could end up like another Wii console, which wouldn’t be terrible. There were enough games for both the hardcore and casual, but some may be dismayed if the ‘hook’ of the system is motion like gimmick. We’ll just have to wait and see.
