EA has announced that it has signed with leading Hollywood talent and literary agency UTA for representation in movies and television. In non-PR speak, that means EAs licenses such as Need for Speed, Army of Two, The Sims and Dead Space may be moving into the world of movies. Yes, EA is now moving in the opposite direction of most game studios and making movies and shows based on their games. In fact, the first property is currently in script development; and thats the MySims franchise which will star in an animated TV show. Dead Space will also get a animated DVD feature as well.
