Atari has just informed us that Trioncube will be heading to the Nintendo DS in June. For the unaware, Trioncube is the latest puzzler from Namco Bandai and is said to “”keep seasoned puzzlers on the edge of their seats””.

More Inside In Trioncube, the player takes the role of captain on the mighty space ship Penko and embarks on a journey across eight planets into the depths of space to rescue the fair princess from the grasp of the handsomely monikered villain Hell Metal. A puzzle game with a story? Fair enough but how does it play? “”Trioncube is all about creating the ultimate chain of 3×3 blocks before the screen fills up or the chain clock runs out.”” Look for the game in June.
