You know that Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei game? Well it’s now called Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, we’re not sure if that’s a hashtag or something else. The game will arrive in Australia on June 25th.
The game will be keeping its Japanese vocal track as well, it will have subtitles in the western version – just so you can’t complain about the localisation – right?

The title is so… meh. Only hardcore fans will be aware of the SMT/Persona/Fire Emblem connection. Virtually everyone else will just flat-out ignore this. I can’t fault them entirely as they have stayed true to the original Japanese title, but still… I really, really want this to succeed, and I know it’s going to flop catastrophically. It seems completely and utterly crazy that Nintendo would publish such a ridiculously niche game (with those stunning production values) for a console with such a negligible user base.
I’m excited about this, but I fear that we’ll never see another game like this again.
