The Survivalists is coming in 2020
Team17 took a moment out to say hi in the recent Indie World event, announcing The Survivalists, the next chapter of game that is set in the same world as The Escapists. In it, you wash up on a deserted island and with only your wits and a band of trained monkeys, begin to build yourself a new life, but the more you explore, the more you realise you are not quite alone.
The game will also offer 4 player online co-op, so finding some mates and thriving might be the option for you.
The Survivalists takes place in a rich world that never stands still, with a day/night cycle, a broad range of animals including boars, big cats, and sharks, as well as deadly fanatics highly skilled in combat. The more you explore, the more you discover and the more you can craft, so getting out there is key.
