Telltale Games, the makers of The Walking Dead, Minecraft: Story Mode, The Wolf Among Us and many more is set to close. The majority of its staff have been let go and only 25 remain to finish Minecraft: Story Mode out of contractual obligation.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season, which was meant to have a new episode this week will remain unfinished after this episode. No word yet on what happens to season pass owners.

CEO of the company Peter Hawley made this announcement on Twitter earlier today;

Telltale also had the second season of The Wolf Among Us, and a Stranger Things series in the works – the future of those doesn’t look great.

Best of luck those to those affected.
