The official Japanese website for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition has been updated to reveal that it will be one of the first third party games to be downloadable from the Wii U eshop. Not only that but it will be cheaper than retail.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition in Japanese retails for 6980 yen ($84AU) but on the eShop it’ll only set you back 6280 yen ($75AU). That’s not much of a difference, but it is still lower.

If you’re going to download the game though, get prepared to not only wait a while, but also to have somewhere to store it. The game comes in at hefty 16.8 gigabytes. That’s definitely not going to fit on the Basic Wii U console. Then again, 16.8 gigs probably takes about 10 minutes to download in Japan anywa

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition will be available in all regions on launch. That’s November 30th for us.
