Target now taking preorders for Nintendo Switch in-store

Target Australia have announced that they are now taking preorders for the Nintendo Switch.

Much like Big W you’ll need to head into a store to put down your $50. You’ll also need to have some ID to do it.

Target also appears to only be selling the console for the full recommended retail price of $469. Hopefully Target and Big W will come through with some discounts on games or accessories because at this stage there doesn’t seem to be any room to move on the consoles.

its nice to see Target taking pre-orders, but why don’t they do them online..

how is it that both Target and Big-W are unable to get their online right, unless its ebay lol

I went in store today to make a pre order at Target. Staff there knew they were taking pre orders but couldn’t remember how to… They offered me a call back so I could come back into the store when someone who knew how to was there. I’ll be preordering elsewhere.

Who has preordered a Switch? I’m going to wait and see how successful it is before I think about getting one.
