Switch Parental Controls update notes mention unreleased Switch firmware version
The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app got updated today which isn’t too exciting, but what is exciting is that the notes mention a version of the Switch firmware which isn’t out yet – 5.0.0
Currently, the Nintendo Switch sits on version 4.1.0. When will this mysterious 5.0.0 firmware drop? We don’t know but it can’t be too far away otherwise these features added to the parental controls app can’t be used until then.
The features added include a whitelist for software titles to not restrict them, the bedtime alarm now resets the next day, and the settings on the app will now sync to the console even when asleep.
We’ll let you know when 5.0.0 drops. What do you think will be in it?
