Last week it was revealed through a retailer briefing and a listing on Nintendo Japans website that there was some sort of Super Mario Collection on the way. This week Amazon Japan has confirmed exactly what is to be in the pack. Some sites reported that the whole pack was a rumour but the only thing unknown was exactly what games were included.
The game disc will contain all three Super Mario Bros. games from the NES in their All-Stars 16-bit remade glory. Also included in the 2500-yen package is a 25-page booklet containing the history of Mario games and unseen development materials. Perhaps the biggest addition for some might be a soundtrack containing music from all Mario games from the original Super Mario. Bros all the way up to to Super Mario Galaxy 2.
The trend of the number 25 in everything isnt a coincidence, it is after all the 25th anniversary of Super Mario. The listing has since been removed but some intrepid people have managed to snag a screenshot before it was.
