Nintendo Australia confirms a date and price for the collection and more

This morning Nintendo Australia has confirmed the release for Australia of the Super Mario All-Stars – 25th Anniversary Edition. The pack which contains four classic Mario games and bonus material is heading our way on December 2nd for a mere $39.95.

If you haven’t been keeping up, the collection contains Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3 and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels. The game is essentially Super Mario All stars on a disc with Wii controller support. However the real treat is the packaging and bonus material that comes with the game. For the low entry fee you also get a CD with music and sound effects from Marios history. There is also a 32 page booklet included with never before seen artwork of Marios history from the developers.

But wait there is more! Nintendo has also announced that from November 11 there will be 3 new t-shirts from Club Nintendo to become redeemable. Theyre pulling a hefty premium of 2,250 stars but they do look very nice. There is a white one with Mario on the front, a blue shirt with Marios lineup of friends and enemies and a grey one filled with coins.

Nintendo has setup two sites with more information about the shirts here.

So who is picking up the collection then?
