Among today’s shadow drops was a nice surprise: Super Bomberman Collection is out now on the eShop. As the name suggests, it’s a collection of Super Nintendo Bomberman games — specifically Super Bomberman 1 through 5. If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen a couple of these before, it’s because they were never released outside of Japan.
As a bonus, there are also two original NES versions of Bomberman included for extra value. The collection adds a new Boss Rush mode, as well as GameShare support, meaning only one person needs to own the game to get some multiplayer going.
Party battle game SUPER BOMBERMAN is now available as a collection featuring seven titles with 12 versions – including the previously unreleased localized versions of SUPER BOMBERMAN 4 and SUPER BOMBERMAN 5! Including BOSS RUSH mode, support features, libraries, and more, players can also join up to three other players via GameShare to share in the explosive fun!
Super Bomberman Collection is out on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, but there’s something a bit funky going on with the local pricing. At the moment, it’s cheaper to buy the Switch version and the upgrade separately than to just buy the Switch 2 version. Take advantage of that while you can, we say.
