Splatacular! Splatoon has now sold over 1 million copies

20,000 of them in Australian and New Zealand.

Nintendo has announced that it has now sold more than 1 million copies of Splatoon since its release.

The worldwide Splatoon totals put America in front at 476,000 copies sold, 368,000 copies sold in Japan, 230,000 in all of Europe. Australia and New Zealand get a mention too with 20,000 copies sold in our region.

This is great news for Splatoon, a brand new IP for Nintendo and of course the Wii U. Now how many out of the million are kids and how many are squids?
