No longer a rumour, all nice and confirmed from Nintendo themselves

The Mario celebrations continue as Nintendo Europe announces that the special edition Wii and Nintendo DSi XL that Japan is getting is indeed coming to Europe. However, the Wii bundle is slightly different this time around. Theres no special edition 25th Super Mario Bros game but instead there is a copy of New Super Mario Bros Wii included and the original Donkey Kong preloaded onto the console. It also includes the new Wii Remote Plus.

Both the new Wii bundle and the Nintendo DSi will be available on October 29th, but there is no pricing as of yet.

Expect an announcement about an Australian release of a similar bundle soon. Right? Nintendo?
