That explains a lot.

The team behind the excellent Sega 3D Classics on the Nintendo 3DS eShops, M2 are also the team behind the Game Boy Advance games on the Wii U Virtual Console.

Posted to the official blog of M2, the team have revealed that they’re the ones who have been working on the games. Nintendo must have been impressed with their work on the Sega 3D Classics.  Those games featured the same advanced manuals and emulation options that the Game Boy Advance versions do.

It’s great to see Nintendo give these guys a leg up and show off their excellent emulation skills on another console.

The first three Game Boy Advance games are now available on the Wii U eShop.
