Scribblenauts + Rooster Hat Winners Announced

by Daniel VuckovicOctober 13, 2009

Remember that Scribblenauts competition we ran? Well weve drawn the prizes did you win? Find out inside.

With a massive amount of entries to go through, we’ve finally decided on the two winners and two runners up of our Scribblenauts competition. There were so many good entries, with some real zany ideas and pictures, which it made it extremely hard for us to pick just four. So, without further gas bagging, we’ll get onto it. Below are the winners of the Scribblenauts game and a Rooster hat.

WINNERS

Anne-Marie

To get past the T-rex in my front yard I would summon a pretty girl T-rex, a motorbike and a picnic hamper – then they could ride off together into the sunset!

You wake up to realize there’s a T-rex in your front yard! Summoning three different items, how will you get past the terrifying dinosaur so you can get to school or work?

Getting to school would be no problem.
I would find my WIND UP TOY CAR,
tie a ROPE to it,
then attach a MASSIVE BONE from the fridge to the end.
The T-rex would never see the cat flap opening…
and the toy car would fly down the road in the opposite direction.

T-rexes love bones, we all know that!
So it chases after the bone down the street, allowing me to safely walk to school.
I would be in trouble the next day if it came back – and I didnt have my toy car.

Runners up are below; they get a very awesome Rooster hat to proudly wear.

I think the most effective cause of action here would be to sing. As dinosaurs are very musically adjusted, the easiest solution would be to summon a squirrel, some string and a megaphone. After using the string to secure the squirrel to the megaphone, and thus acquiring a roughly improvised, ’home-made’ megaphone (one can only do with what one has on hand!), place your lips (and preferably the rest of yourself as well) to the megaphone and sing. This would cause the dinosaur to either hastily retreat at the musical (barely) monstrosity or dance across to the neighbors’ lawn, allowing you to go to wherever it is you are needed.

Thanks to all for entering; it was one of our biggest competitions yet, and was very hard to pick from all the great entries. If you didn’t win this time, why not enter our Sonic and Mario at the Winter Olympics competition; there’s two copies of the game up for grabs!

We’ll be emailing the winners shortly for their details!
