Satoru Iwata to remain Nintendo president

Some good news for Iwata.

Late last week Nintendo held its 74th annual general meeting for shareholders. Amongst questions from dumb investors who want games on smartphones and other investors who don’t care about games at all and just want the company to make money was the news that Satoru Iwata will remain on as the company president.

Iwata wasn’t at the meeting of course but with an impressive showing at E3 this year there’s no way they could have got rid of yet him just yet.
