Gaming-Age are suggesting that the official title for Sega’s upcoming Sonic title for the Wii will be Sonic and the Secret Rings. According to the Gaming-Age website, this name will replace the previous tentative name ‘Sonic: Wild Fire’.

Sonic and the Secret Rings is due out in early 2007.

Update: We want to point out that Sega have NOT confirmed this name change. With this in mind, we advise to treat this news as rumour until Sega themselves confirm or deny the name change.
