In a recent interview conducted with MTV representative Stephen Totilo, everyone’s favourite Nintendo rep, Reggie Fils-Aime, made several Wii related revelations, including the possibility of the cult hit Goldeneye as a virtual console title and the implementation of Nunchuck bundles, also discussing the Q1 2007 line up for the console.
More Inside Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is currently slated as the first of the Nintendo releases of 2007, while gamers are told to expect Mario Galaxy any time between the end of March and next Christmas. It seems that we could very well be waiting a while before we get our hands on Mario’s intrepid new space adventure.
Fils-Aime also denied that a DVD player compatible version of the Wii will be reaching the United States any time in the near future and revealed that 3rd party developers have been given the means to now integrate Mii character profiles into future titles, along with confirmation that Pokemon Battle Revolution is a candidate for the first online title in the US. He also stated that the Wii will be getting on board with online play in early 2007.
