RE5 on Wii would be ‘pretty difficult’ says Capcom
Many Resident Evil fans, upset over the lack of a Resident Evil 5 on Wii, have looked to Dead Rising as a sign that we may get a slightly downgraded version of the game some time down the line. Recent comments from Jun Takeuchi seemed to hint at the possibility, with his remark about wanting to continue the franchise on Wii. Well, 1up decided to ask Takeuchi directly in an interview whether an RE5 port could happen. His response? Inside “”Hmm… honestly speaking, we’re kind of pushing the 360 and PS3 to their limits right now, so it would probably be pretty difficult to create a Wii version of RE5.””
We’re thinking it was probably ‘pretty difficult’ to port Dead Rising to the Wii, but it’s not looking good for those eagerly awaiting a Wii edition.
