One of the biggest reveals of the 3DS lineup so far has been the upcoming Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright crossover. Theres some sad news though as Capcom has come out and said The game has only been announced for Japan". While true, we dont think this discounts a western release. jgonzo at the Capcom Blog has said "Want it available outside of Japan? Shout out in the comments! The more comments we get for this blog post, the better! Lets show Capcom Japan that theres definite interest in Europe and North America!"
We think Capcom would be crazy not to release the game outside of Japan, the Layton series has sold nearly 10 million copies and the Phoenix Wright series nearly 4 million worldwide. Not all of them can be in Japan.
Dont worry too much on this one folks. We still think well get this crossover.
