Famitsu have released their latest multiplatform sales charts and have revealed that Pokemon X/Y have regained top spot in japan.

For the period covering 30th December to 5th January Nintendo have kept quite a lot in the top 10. Along with Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for 3DS holds the number three spot.

First party titles for the Wii U, Super Mario 3D world, Wii U Party and New super Mario Bros. U also performed well, but were most likely helped along with hardware bundle sales.

Hardware sales were down from last week, but combined sales of the 3DS and 3DS XL retained the top spot.

Even thought the Wii U underperformed when compared to last week, reports show that the numbers are still better than most sales results last year.

Let’s hope things only get better from here on.
